Iconic Adelaide Winery Estate is situated at 3775 Adelaida Road, in Paso Robles—half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Positioned in San Luis Obispo County, Paso Robles is the heart of Central Coast Wine Country. Downtown Paso Robles, is located approximately 6 miles from the Estate, offering amenities and conveniences including shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.   

The gated entrance of Iconic Adelaide Winery Estate fronts on Adelaida Road in the Adelaida region located on the westside of Paso Robles. This area is characteristically rural, brimming with oak trees, ranches, agriculture properties, vineyards and boutique wineries ranging in size from 10 to over 200 acres. VINEYARD:

The Iconic Adelaide Winery Estate vineyard is situated in the Adelaida District AVA, which is positioned on the western boundary of the Paso Robles AVA. Located within the Santa Lucia Mountain Range with elevations ranging from 900 to 2,200 feet, this zone experiences moderate maritime influences from the Pacific Ocean, creating a climate ideal for fruit ripening and acid retention. Soils are primarily calcareous gravitating between shallow bedrock soils and patchy colluvial hillside soils, allowing for good drainage and moisture retention.

The vineyard is planted with 13± acres of grapes comprised of 7 varietals: Zinfandel, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Mourverde, Tempranillo, and Tannat. Planted 1996 and 2010, the grapes are planted over a terraced hillside with irrigation line. Ten acres are on cordon trellis and three acres are head pruned.

WINERY & DISTILLERY:

Iconic Adelaide Winery Estate is a boutique winery known for its rich, bold red wines, made using the farm-to-bottle method, producing under 3,000 cases each year. All of the wines at Iconic Adelaide Winery Estate are made from grapes grown on the property and are all processed and produced on site.

Iconic Adelaide Winery Estate also features an estate distillery producing handcrafted Brandy spirits made from the sacrificial wine from all seven varietals using a single-stage process yielding 130-proof alcohol, maximized with flavors and aromas.

The Iconic Adelaide Winery Estate winery, distillery and equipment are available for purchase under separate treaty.

CANTINA & TASTING ROOM:

Iconic Adelaide Winery Estate boasts a one-of-a kind, Santa Fe style tasting room featuring a circular bar adorned with rustic wood. Opening off of the tasting room is the Coyote Cantina offering an inviting atmosphere complete with table seating and commercial kitchen.

BED & BREAKFAST:

The Iconic Adelaide Winery Estate Bed & Breakfast is comprised of five, self-contained “Casitas” adjacent to the tasting room and showcasing the Santa Fe style architecture featured throughout the Estate. Each casita is carved into the mountaintop overlooking the vineyard and offers breathtaking views. Outside is a communal patio with hot tub, barbecue, and outdoor seating.

WATER:

Iconic Adelaide Winery Estate features 2 wells producing approximately 30-40 gallons per minute and 70 gallons per minute respectively. There are also five storage tanks located on the southwest corner of the property and a 500,000-gallon water retention pond in the center of the vineyard. Combined, these water resources offer plentiful water for the agricultural, commercial and domestic uses.

 

IMPROVEMENTS:

The crown jewel of the Iconic Adelaide Winery Estate is the custom, southwestern style main residence, constructed with Santa Fe style architecture. The manufactured home, located along the western most boundary was installed in 2006 and is utilized as a guest house/vacation rental. The Bed & Breakfast, which is located on the eastern portion of the estate next to the tasting room, is composed of 5 units totaling 2,700± square feet, also constructed in Santa Fe style architecture.

The tasting room encompasses 2,200± square feet and includes a restaurant/cantina, office, and commercial kitchen. The nearby winery production facility is 3,430± square foot, prefabricated metal structure containing the ability to hold up to 5,000 cases. Atop the production facility is a large, 200killowatt photovoltaic system that offers electricity to the entire property via solar power.

There are also numerous retaining walls throughout the property and patio areas surrounding the improvements. The main adobe entrance features an electronic gate and there are asphalt paved drives to each of the main structures. The entire Iconic Adelaide Winery Estate is perimeter fenced with deer fencing.
